It's been a while, eh?

I've finally started uploading pictures from last summer's Eurotrip, but I've still got quite a bit more to go through, so we'll just see how long it takes me.

Sorry, guys. You're going to have to deal with a barrage of new photography; my new camera is here! I'm still playing around with her and figuring out all the advanced features, but... she's so beautiful.

I might start crying.

After much searching and researching and re-searching, I've finally purchased a new digital camera: a Fuji FinePix 5.1 MP S5200. It's an SLR-style point-and-shoot with a 10x optical zoom. I'm really excited about it. It should be arriving between the 20th and the 28th of this month. I'm leaving for Illinois on the 28th and returning on the 7th, so if you don't see a bunch of photos before the 28th, expect loads a week into August.

I shudder at the thought of August's approach... the summer never lasts long enough.

*sigh*

Back from the beach, and I've got the pictures to prove it. Didn't really get any of the shots I was looking for, but I wasted too much of my time not to post a good number of them.

Comments would be much appreciated.

I recently spent a little time at Rocks State Park with my camera, so I've got a decent number of photos from there. It's really a great spot for photography. Unfortunately, many of the pictures were ruined by the presence of foreign human interaction (e.g., random people stepping into the shot, an orange soccer ball in the background). I hope to get back out there sometime—possibly with some more models—and get some better pictures.

But I think I got some pretty good ones...? Tell me what you think.



In a few hours I'm going to be leaving for Ocean City. I won't be back until next weekend, but I'm hoping to find some nice photo ops while I'm there, so expect some more photography.

And who knows, maybe I'll even get back to writing... *sigh* I miss it.
